Hello all.
As we head into Thanksgiving, we at Zambri Financial certainly have much to be thankful for. In our last newsletter, we mentioned that Tony V. Zambri and JaiCe had been in the hospital because their soon to be born baby was intent on arriving early.
Well, arrive early he did! They welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Salvatore John, 32 days early. Thankfully, he only needed to spend 2 days in the NICU and they were all able to go home together! He did have to get readmitted for one day for some phototherapy to clear up jaundice. Thanks to all of the staff at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. They were truly amazing. Almost makes you miss being there…almost.
Baby Salvo, as they are calling him, is a beautiful healthy boy. He eats and sleeps so well and, as you can probably tell from that middle picture, he’s a happy child,
Of course, we are also thankful for all of you. Clients, family, friends, coworkers…all of you mean so much to us. We cannot do the things we do, and experience the growth we have, without all of you. I hope that you know that we appreciate you and do not take this lightly or for granted in any way.
Our promise to you is that we will always care and do everything in our power to make your experience as good as it can possibly be.
In times like the past few weeks, that can sometimes be a little difficult. Despite this year having been a tremendous year for stocks and bonds, we have seen some softness since the end of October.
As I write this mid afternoon on 11/19/25 (anxiously awaiting Nvidia’s earnings report with the rest of the world), the S & P 500 has dropped almost 4% from its closing high on 10/29/25. The DOW is down over 3% and NASDAQ is down over 6%. I actually got my first “concerned” call yesterday.
It’s important to remember that these types of moves in the market are entirely normal. That doesn’t mean that they will reverse course soon. Prices could continue to move downward. This is part of the process when it comes to investing. It wasn’t long ago…about 9 months…that the S & P began a decline of some 24%, NASDAQ about 31%, from mid-February to early April. Even with that, 2025 has been a very strong year.
In this way, investing is a bit like having a child. It’s a long process filled with doubt and insecurity. Childbirth itself can be very painful. Amazingly, women continue to do it. The end result makes it all worthwhile!
With that, if it starts getting too stressful for you, reach out to us. We’re here to help.
Finally, I would like to remind you to tune into my radio show, Financially Speaking, every Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm. It airs on 103.9 FM, LI News Radio. If you are out of the station’s listening range, you can go to their web site, www.linewsradio.com, and click on the “listen live” link or you can download the LI News Radio app. This is a great way for you to keep up with what’s on my mind, my thoughts about current conditions, and some timely information about financial planning topics.
Until next time, Happy Thanksgiving, be well, and God Bless!
